adesso AG Expands Activities in Public Authorities Sector by Winning a Large-scale Project

Two-year framework agreement concludes the purchase of at least 1,300 person-days by German Federal Bureau of Statistics

adesso AG announces its first large-scale project in the sector of German public authorities. In the context of a German Federal Bureau of Statistics’ tendering, adesso is taking on the development of certain IT components of the IT concept “Census 2011”, as part of next year’s EU-wide population census. The framework agreement has initially been concluded for two years and ensures the purchase of at least 1,300 person-days.

adesso AG starts slowly into the new year; sales and earnings in the first quarter of 2010 up on the previous year

In the first quarter of 2010, adesso AG increased its sales revenues by 7 % year on year to EUR 17.7 million. The product business and higher foreign sales were the growth drivers. Consolidated earnings increased by 5 % to EUR 536 thousand; earnings per share of EUR 0.09 match the result of the first quarter in 2009.

adesso receives €6.5 million order from E.ON: adesso’s FirstSpirit™ software becomes global group’s standard

Record order volumes for template development, licenses and support

adesso AG is supporting the international energy group E.ON AG with a comprehensive service package for the relaunch of its worldwide intranet and internet portals. It includes introducing the FirstSpirit™ content management system along with other adesso solutions across the group as well as providing maintenance and support. The goal is to standardise all of the company’s internet and intranet sites on the basis of centralised templates, workflows and publishing processes. These will enable optimal content reusability within the group. adesso is also handling the interface integration to the existing SAP portal to promote efficient data maintenance. This integration will allow content to be fed into the system via CMS. The order’s volume amounts to about €6.5 million including licenses – €3.1 million of which will be received in the first year of the contract. The current contract initially lasts until the end of 2013. At the project level, this represents the largest incoming order in adesso’s history.

adesso wins European-wide tender of Agrarmarkt Austria in the amount of EUR 6 million

The know-how of its software developers makes adesso the favoured partner

adesso Austria GmbH will be the exclusive software development partner of Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA), Vienna, for another period of five years. adesso won the European-wide tender of the Austrian federal organisation and pay office responsible for market regulations and market interventions. The order value amounts to EUR 6 million. This is an important basis for the further development of adesso’s business activities in Austria.

adesso continues expansions in Austria by acquiring the IT consulting company CFC Informationssysteme

By acquiring CFC Informationssysteme adesso targeted complements its existing portfolio in Austria by the service of IT consulting. In only one year since market entry, the adesso subsidiary adesso Austria is now able to offer large parts of the adesso portfolio. With total sales figures of more than 6 million EUR in Austria, adesso Austria ranks among the major independent IT services providers in its country. CFC Informationssysteme achieves a pre-tax return of more than 25 percent at total sales figures of 2 million EUR in 2009.
