Company enters industry specific SAP consulting and the energy and water utilities customer segment

adesso AG is entering the industry-specific SAP consulting business with its initial acquisition of a 60 % share in evu.it GmbH. evu.it has many years of experience in providing SAP solutions for energy and water utilities and currently employs 85 members of staff. The company generated over €8 million in sales revenues. By this acquisition, adesso expands it’s portfolio with industry-specific solutions for the energy and water utilities segment and opens up to a new and very promising market. Moreover, the sound SAP-know-how of evu.it opens new prospects for existing segments and business relationships.

adesso AG with All-time High in Sales Revenues in 2009 – First Dividend Payment Suggested

Sales revenues increased at 7 percent to EUR 71.3 million – Consolidated profit exceeds expectations at EUR 3.6 million, given the difficult market environment

IT service provider adesso AG closed the business year 2009 with an all-time high in sales revenues of EUR 71.3 million, despite the difficult general economic situation. This corresponds to an increase of 7 percent of which 4 percentage points result from organic growth. The consolidated profit of EUR 3.6 million is less than last year’s result of EUR 4.3 million, but still exceeds the company’s own expectations. Due to the positive development, the Management and the Supervisory Board will for the first time suggest a dividend payment of EUR 0.15 per share on the adesso annual shareholders meeting. adesso Group successfully pushed its internationalization efforts. Simultaneously, the extension of the Sales and Business Development departments provided a basis for further growth. The number of employees increased to more than 650 members of staff (598 FTE) in the group.

adesso, one of 100 companies awarded the “Germany’s top employer 2010” seal of approval.

The IT service provider adesso AG was named one of the top 100 employers in Germany by the renowned Great Place to Work® Institute Deutschland as part of its nationwide corporate competition. Federal Minister of Labour Ursula von der Leyen praised the quality and attractiveness of the participating companies in their role as employers at the gala ceremony in Berlin.

adesso receives €6.5 million order from E.ON: FirstSpirit™ software becomes global group’s standard

adesso AG as well as subsidiaries e-Spirit and adesso mobile solutions assist worldwide relaunch of intranet and internet portals

adesso AG is supporting E.ON AG with a comprehensive service package for the relaunch of the energy group’s 120 intranet and internet portals around the world. This involves introducing the FirstSpirit™ content management system from adesso subsidiary e-Spirit AG as well as providing maintenance and support across the group. Other adesso solutions from the adesso Group such as web in|MOTION from adesso mobile solutions GmbH are also included in the order. The goal is to standardise all of the company’s internet and intranet sites on the basis of centralised templates, workflows and publishing processes.
